Welcome and thank you for participating in this master thesis research study! Please carefully read the following before deciding to participate in this questionnaire.

By clicking 'I agree to participate in this study' below, you consent to take part in a research project conducted by Anne Nederhoff, dual degree master student at Maastricht University and Luiss University.

This questionnaire should take no more than 5-10 minutes to fill in. The study aims to investigate the intention-behaviour gap in sustainable tourism and the role of knowledge on this gap. Your participation will provide valuable insights that will be used for academic purposes only.

Voluntary Participation and Withdrawal: Participation in this study is entirely voluntary. You can withdraw from the study at any point by exiting the questionnaire without any consequences.

Confidentiality and Anonymity: All data collected will be anonymised. No personal identifying information, such as names or contact details, will be recorded or stored. Questionnaire responses will be stored securely, and only the researcher will have access to this data. The data may be accessed by educational accreditation bodies or research ethics committees if necessary for review, but it will remain fully anonymised.

Data Protection and Security: In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), your data will be handled securely. Personal data will not be collected beyond what is necessary for the research (e.g., demographic information like age or gender). Data will be securely stored on encrypted systems, and no identifying information will be associated with your responses. Once the research project is completed, the data will be deleted. Anonymity is ensured, and it will not be possible to remove specific data once anonymised.
